Print Paper Squishy Templates: Color, Cut, Tape, and Make

Choose a free template, print it at 100% scale, then color, tape, cut, stuff, and seal it. This checklist prevents clipped tabs, tiny prints, and misaligned edges before you start.

Best Print Settings

  • Set scale to 100%, actual size, or no scaling.
  • Choose A4 or Letter to match the paper in the tray.
  • Turn off fit-to-page if it shrinks tabs or matching edges.
  • Use normal quality for test prints and higher quality for the final colored version.
  • Print one template first, check the border, then print the rest of the pack.

Color PNG vs Coloring PNG

Color PNG is fastest when you want to print, tape, cut, stuff, and seal right away.

Coloring PNG is better when kids want to decorate the design while the sheet is still flat.

Before You Cut

  • Make sure the full outline is visible and not clipped by printer margins.
  • Color while the page is flat; it is cleaner than coloring after stuffing.
  • Cover both sides with overlapping clear tape before trimming close to the line.
  • Keep a tiny white border if the shape has tight curves or small ears.

Quick Fixes

The front and back do not line up

Reprint both pieces with the same paper size and 100% scale. Do not mix A4 and Letter copies.

The template printed too small

Disable fit-to-page and choose actual size. If your printer still clips margins, use the matching A4 or Letter file.
