Assembly overview

1. Print two pages. Print both template pages at 100%. Check 50 mm. Choose color or coloring. Prepare paper, scissors, paper glue, clear tape and soft filling. Tomatoes and leaves are printed, not separate pieces.
2. Cut A, B, C and D. Cut solid outlines only, including the small tabs on C and D. A is the top; B is the base. Keep both wall strips: C plus D make ONE tart.
3. Fold and curve. Fold the small tabs inward on dashed lines. Curve C and D gently. The arrows point toward A. Wall height is 26 mm; each strip has 157.08 mm of wall plus an 8 mm joining tab.
4. Join C to D at J1. Put glue on the printed side of C’s J1 tab. Place D’s starting edge over it, exactly up to the dashed stop line. The artwork faces the same way. Press the 8 mm overlap flat.
5. Close the ring at J2. Curve the joined strip. Glue the printed side of D’s J2 tab underneath C’s starting edge. Align the stop line. C and D now form one ring around B; do not make two separate rings.
6. Attach base B. With the top open, fold the lower tabs inward. Put glue on their outer undersides and set them onto the blank side of B. B’s printed face points down. Press each tab through the open top.
7. Reinforce the base. Turn over and tape the outside bottom seam in short sections. Keep the top open. Check J1 and J2. Let the glue dry before filling.
8. Add light filling. Turn upright. Add loose soft filling from above. Keep it below the upper tabs and do not stretch the walls. Fold the top tabs inward as supports; leave O accessible.
9. Place top A. Set A print-side up on the inward tabs. Tape the outside top edge in short sections, leaving O open. Use O to adjust the filling; do not glue the top shut before this check.
10. Close opening O. Tape the last 30 mm at O, overlapping the sealed ends. Gently shape the sides. One finished tart is 100 mm across and 26 mm high. All vegetable decorations remain printed details.
