English laptop assembly guide
Use this guide for S01–S04, B01–B04 and H01. Fill and seal both shells before attaching the paper hinge.
Assembly overview
- Print all 3 template pages for your paper size at 100% / Actual Size. The square must measure 20 x 20 mm.
- Cut only outer part outlines; inner solid lines are artwork or placement marks. Fold wall tabs inward on dashes; curve corners gently.
- Pair S03 + S04 and B03 + B04. Close both joins of each ring: glue each JOIN under the named strip, overlapping 8 mm. Do not fold JOIN.
- Lay S01 printed-side down; glue the wall tabs to its plain back, then add S02. Match the rear edges; leave S02 FILL tabs open.
- Glue B01 first, then B02, using B03 + B04. Keep rear edges aligned and leave B02 FILL tabs open.
- FILL marks the unglued front seam. Add a little filling through it, then glue the marked tabs closed. Keep both shells flat.
- Seal both shells. Pre-fold H01 on all 3 dashed lines. Glue the backs of its 10 mm ends to the B02 / S02 marks; keep the middle 27 mm free.
- Let glue dry first. Tape only the bonded ends; keep folds and the 27 mm middle free. Support the screen by hand and test gentle opening.

Can I draw on the screen?
Yes. The blank screen is printed artwork, not a window to cut out. Add your own drawing or stickers.
How many parts and sheets do I need?
Choose three color OR three coloring sheets. Cut 9 parts: S01–S04, B01–B04 and H01. Each shell uses two half-perimeter wall strips, joined with 8 mm overlaps.
How does the hinge attach?
After filling and sealing both shells, pre-fold H01 and glue its 10 mm ends to B02 and S02. Keep the middle 27 mm free. Let the glue dry, then tape only the bonded ends and support the screen while testing.
