Check the closed can. Check the J seam, both circular rims and all four O tabs. Press gently and repair any lifting edge. The finished model is 64 mm wide and 82 mm high. It is one sealed paper squishy; the printed lid is not designed to open.

Assembly overview

  1. Print and measure. Choose the color or coloring set: 2 cut-out pages in one paper size. The wall page is landscape. Print at 100%; check the 50 mm bar. Use 90–120 g/m² paper, scissors, glue, clear tape and soft stuffing. Color before cutting.
  2. Cut and identify. Cut W, T and B around the solid outer contours, including each tab on W. Pencil T and B on their blank backs. Do not cut the grey dashed fold lines. The circles are 64 mm across; the small tabs are 6 mm deep.
  3. Form the cylinder. Gently curve W with the label outside. Put glue on the printed face of J. Slip J under the starting edge of W, covering exactly 8 mm, and press. The top and bottom edges must line up. Let the join set; do not fold the wall flat.
  4. Attach the bottom. Fold all bottom tabs inward on the grey dashes. Put glue on their printed faces. Place B against the tabs from outside the cylinder: its blank side touches the glue and its printed metal detail faces out. The disc edge follows the cylinder edge.
  5. Secure the base. Keep the top open. Press the bottom tabs against B from inside with a blunt tool while supporting B from outside. Allow the glue to set. Check that the base is centred and has no gaps; reinforce lifting edges with small clear tape pieces.
  6. Add soft filling. With the can standing on B, add loose, soft stuffing through the fully open top. Keep the 64 mm round shape and 82 mm height. Do not pack tightly or push the wall seam apart. Leave room beneath the top tabs.
  7. Attach the top, leaving O. Fold the top tabs inward. Apply glue to the printed faces of the 28 tabs without O; leave the four O tabs unglued. Set T on top with its blank side down and printed metal detail up. Centre it, press and let the glued tabs set.
  8. Close the four O tabs. Check the filling through the small O gap, about 25 mm along the rim. Add a little only if needed. Apply glue between each O tab and T's blank underside; press the four tabs shut. Reinforce the rim with short clear tape pieces if needed.
  9. Check the closed can. Check the J seam, both circular rims and all four O tabs. Press gently and repair any lifting edge. The finished model is 64 mm wide and 82 mm high. It is one sealed paper squishy; the printed lid is not designed to open.
