Assembly overview

  1. Prepare eight pieces. Before cutting, pencil part codes and edge numbers on blank backs. Print both sheets in one style at 100%. Use 160–200 gsm paper, scissors, glue, 6 mm clear tape and 0.3–0.5 mm thin card. Cut F1, F2, H1, H2 and W1–W4. Color before assembly.
  2. Laminate the handle and wall. Trace H1 onto thin card. Glue H1 and H2 around this core, blank backs inward. Measure a 22 mm root from one end; keep the handle flat. Glue W1 to W3 and W2 to W4, blank backs together; curve gently before the glue fully sets.
  3. Trap the handle root. Keep F1 facing up and F2 facing down. Glue their blank backs together with 22 mm of the handle trapped between them at the rim, pointing radially outward. Keep the bottom flat. The exposed handle is 70 mm long; let the glue dry.
  4. Close the round wall. Curve the two laminated wall halves around the 100 mm floor. Their short ends meet without overlap. Bridge both joints with clear tape. The wall is 18 mm high; keep it round, with the entire top open.
  5. Tape the wall to the floor. Set the ring around the floor edge. Apply short 6 mm tape strips around the OUTSIDE bottom seam: half on the wall, half folded under the floor. At the handle root, tape on both sides of the handle. Close gaps without cutting the wall.
  6. Check the finished pan. Check the flat base, round open top and secure handle root. Lift by supporting the base. The body is 100 mm across and 18 mm high; the handle projects 70 mm. This is a paper display craft: no stuffing, heat, cooking, water or heavy loads.
