Assembly overview

1. Print, mark and cut. Print the 2 color OR 2 coloring pages at 100% / Actual Size, without Fit to Page. Check the 50 mm squares. Use 80–120 gsm paper. Transfer marks 1 and 2 to the blank backs before cutting out all 7 pieces.
2. Two walls make one body. Use W1 AND W2 around one F/B pair. Each wall gives 140.69 mm net plus 8 mm JOIN; together they wrap 281.38 mm. Keep F tabs on the front edge and B tabs on the back edge. Copy 1 at the top and 2 at the bottom before cutting.
3. Join the bottom seam 2. Glue the printed face of the W1 JOIN flap behind the blank back at the plain edge of W2. Stop at the dotted line: this is seam 2. The long strip stays open at both ends marked 1. The enlarged section shows the glued overlap; gold is glue.
4. Close 1; match the body. Curve the long strip into ONE loop. Glue W2 behind the plain end of W1 by 8 mm at seam 1. Looking at the front: W1 follows the right side from 1 to 2; W2 returns on the left from 2 to 1. The separate F piece shows the matching top and bottom marks. Fold F tabs inward.
5. Attach and seal the front. Fold the F tabs inward. Match the top join to mark 1 and the bottom join to mark 2 on front piece F. Glue F onto every F tab. Seal the full outer front seam with short overlapping pieces of clear tape.
6. Attach most of the back. Fold the B tabs inward. Align back piece B at 1 and 2. Glue it to the tabs, except the four marked ! at the bottom. Keep this same bottom seam open for filling; do not cut a separate hole.
7. Fill gently from the bottom. Push small loose pieces of tissue through the open bottom section of the back seam. Spread the filling evenly. Use only enough to soften the body without bulging the paper or forcing apart the glued edges.
8. Close the last four tabs. Tuck the filling away from the seam. Glue the four remaining ! tabs under B, then press the edge closed. Tape the full back seam with short overlapping pieces, including the filling section and both wall joins.
9. Glue only the upper back of K. Left: printed K. Turn it over; right: its blank back. Gold marks glue on the upper triangle only, above the horizontal dashed line. Keep the lower triangle clean and free. The upper triangle is the attachment pad, not another piece.
10. Attach K; lift the lower flap. Press the glued upper triangle onto the K mark on F. Let it grip, then bend the lower triangle gently forward on its horizontal dashed fold. The side view shows the upper pad flat against F and the lower flap projecting outward. Do not fold down the vertical center or glue the lower tip.
11. Glue the upper wing backs. The diagrams show the BLANK BACKS of WL and WR; their shapes therefore look reversed. Apply glue only in the gold upper 8 mm pad, above the dashed fold. Keep both lower flaps clean. Turn the wings picture-side out to install them next.
12. Attach and lift both wings. Looking at F, attach WL to the left pad and WR to the right pad. Press only the glued upper pads. The side view shows the upper pad against F and the lower wing lifted slightly forward. Keep the lower parts free. Feet are printed artwork, with no extra pieces to cut.
