Assembly overview

1. Print and prepare. Use 100-120 g/m² paper, scissors, a ruler, transparent tape and a little soft tissue. Print the landscape template at 100% and check the 50 mm bar. This model has two faces, no wall strip; filling determines its thickness.
2. Cut F and B. Color first if using the coloring version. Cut only the solid outside contours. Keep the rounded hands and lower lobes whole. Eyes, cheeks and stars are printed details, not separate pieces. The two O marks locate a side opening.
3. Align blank sides. Put the white backs together so the printed faces point outward. B is mirrored: flip it over, then align its full outline with F. Match head, hands and lower lobes. Do not fold or turn the assembled paper inside out.
4. Tape around the edge. Use short tape pieces to wrap the cut edge, catching about 6 mm on each face. Smooth each piece before the next. Use smaller pieces at inward curves; do not cut into the ghost. Leave the 32 mm side seam between O marks untaped.
5. Add a little filling. Gently lift the open SIDE seam between O marks. Feed small loose pieces of tissue into the body and hands. Keep hands and lower lobes soft and lightly filled. Do not cut a hole in the face or force a thick ball into the opening.
6. Seal and shape. Bring the O edges together and close with short tape pieces, overlapping the taped seam ends. Smooth every loose edge. Gently shape the body without pulling the hands. Front and back stay joined; the finished ghost need not stand upright.
