Build Notes
Keep the phone generic
Draw a made-up home screen, camera dots, stickers, or a cute face. Avoid copying a real brand logo or exact phone UI.
Use a flat-first version
A flat phone squishy is easier than a thick 3D phone because the screen stays cleaner and the edges line up faster.
Round the corners
Sharp corners split more easily after stuffing. Rounded corners give tape more room to hold.
Stuff the center lightly
Put the soft filling in the center, not the corners, so the phone does not warp.
Simple Shape Recipe
- Draw two rounded rectangles at the same size.
- Add a made-up screen with large icons or a kawaii face.
- Cover both sides with clear tape before cutting.
- Seal three sides, add a small amount of stuffing, then close the last straight edge.
