Assembly overview

  1. Color first. Copy 1–6 and A–F onto the back. Cut the outer outline as ONE piece; keep base 0 attached. Place print down. Fold the six base edges upward, then gently curve each petal. Do not laminate the whole sheet.
  2. Keep print outside. Match A on 1 with A on 2, edge to edge, without overlap. Match the ticks. Tape outside from base to tip using short strips, slightly overlapping. Repeat B, C, D, E. Support from inside while accessible.
  3. F joins 6 to 1. Leave this WHOLE seam untaped. Cradle the shell in one hand and add small tufts through F. Fill loosely. Bring the F edges together to check; remove filling if they pull apart.
  4. Match F to F and the purple ticks. Tape outside from the base upwards, without overlapping the paper. Finish at the six meeting tips. Cover any tiny top hole with one tape patch. Small wrinkles are normal.

Cut, mark, curve?

Color first. Copy 1–6 and A–F onto the back. Cut the outer outline as ONE piece; keep base 0 attached. Place print down. Fold the six base edges upward, then gently curve each petal. Do not laminate the whole sheet.

Close from base to tip?

Match F to F and the purple ticks. Tape outside from the base upwards, without overlapping the paper. Finish at the six meeting tips. Cover any tiny top hole with one tape patch. Small wrinkles are normal.
