3D Rainbow Lollipop Paper Squishy

Assembly overview

1. Print at actual size. Choose color OR coloring. Print one cutting sheet at 100% / Actual Size. Measure its 50 mm line. Use 120–160 gsm paper; color before cutting.
2. Cut five parts and the slot. Keep F, B, W1, W2 and S, including every tab. Cut the dark outer contours. With adult help, remove ONLY the crossed 11 × 9 mm rectangle inside W2.
3. Pre-fold the paper handle. S has four panels: 10, 8, 10 and 8 mm. Fold the long dashed lines and bottom-cap tabs inward. Fold the four top A tabs OUTWARD, then straighten them for insertion.
4. Glue the handle tube. Glue the PRINTED face of J behind the blank back of the first panel. Match the J boundary. Press into a 10 × 8 mm hollow tube; keep the four A tabs separate.
5. Close the bottom cap. Fold its three small tabs inward. Glue their printed faces inside the tube, then close the 10 × 8 mm cap. Press gently and let dry; do not flatten the tube.
6. Insert S through W2. Keep W2 flat, printed side outside. Push all four straight A tabs through the slot from the printed side to the blank side. Stop with their fold roots at the wall.
7. Spread and secure A inside. Open all four A tabs outward against W2’s blank inside. Glue their PRINTED faces to that inside surface. Press while reachable and let dry. The handle projects outside; keep the rim tabs free.
8. Curve both wall strips. Fold the 6 mm rim tabs inward along the dashed roots. Gently curve W1 and W2 into half circles, including the side anchor tabs. J adds 8 mm overlap; do not crease it as a corner.
9. Join W1 to W2 at B. Glue the printed J of W1 behind the blank start of W2, exactly 8 mm. Match B to B. Both strips belong to ONE candy head. Keep W2’s J free.
10. Close the ring at A. Wrap both strips into one Ø80 mm ring. Glue W2’s printed J behind W1’s start, 8 mm, matching A to A. The handle is at the bottom of W2; keep both circular faces open.
11. Attach the back B. Fold the rear rim tabs inward. Glue their outward-facing surfaces to B’s blank back; B’s swirl faces outside. Align the circle and press each tab through the still-open front.
12. Secure the back seam. Let the glue hold. Bridge the entire back-to-wall seam and both wall joins with short overlapping clear-tape strips. Keep the front open and the wall 18 mm deep.
13. Fill the head lightly. Lay the back down. Add a little loose soft tissue through the open front. Keep filling away from rim tabs and the handle joint. Do not fill or squeeze the handle.
14. Close with front F. Fold front tabs inward and glue their outward-facing surfaces. Place F on them, swirl outside. Press the full rim; after the glue holds, tape the entire front seam with overlapping strips.
15. Check the finished lollipop. Head: Ø80 × 18 mm. Hollow handle: 10 × 8 × 60 mm. Check the handle joint and all seams. Let dry fully; hold gently and squeeze only the head. This is a paper craft.
