English assembly guide 2 / 2

Follow all eight steps. Join C1 and C2 into one cup, using both 8 mm overlaps, then glue CB beneath its bottom tabs. Keep the cup open and empty. Lightly fill and seal the three rolls, then place them upright in a triangle inside the cup.

Assembly overview

  1. Print and group the pieces. Print both color OR both coloring pages at 100% / Actual Size, without Fit to Page. Check both 50 mm squares. Use 160–200 gsm cardstock for cup page 1, and 100–120 gsm paper for rolls page 2. Copy all codes to the backs before cutting. Keep every tab; 12 pieces total.
  2. Two halves make ONE cup. C1 and C2 each make half the cup, not separate cups. A: glue C1 JOIN behind the plain end of C2, up to the dotted line (8 mm overlap; side view below). B: curve the long strip and glue C2 JOIN behind the plain end of C1 the same way. Keep small tabs below; do not crease the walls. The top view shows both seams on ONE Ø78 mm ring. Tape both outside seams fully.
  3. Attach and seal the cup base. Fold all bottom tabs inward on their dashed roots. Glue their undersides onto CB, with CB below the tabs and its color facing down. Press from inside the empty cup on a flat table. Let set. Tape the full outside base circle and add thin tape over the open rim. Green means tape. Continue around the hidden back edge too.
  4. Make one sushi wall loop. Take W1, T1 and B1 from page 2. Curve W1 with the seaweed picture outside. Glue JOIN behind the plain end on the dotted line, then tape the full outside join. Fold small T1 tabs inward at the top and B1 tabs inward at the bottom. Leave both circular ends open for now.
  5. Attach B1 underneath. Put glue on the undersides of the bottom B1 tabs. Place the B1 disc below them, picture facing down. Press the tabs onto B1 from the open top. Let set, then tape the entire outside bottom circle with short overlapping strips, bridging the disc and wall. The small drawing shows a cross-section.
  6. Lightly fill and add T1. Add loose soft tissue through the whole open top; keep it below the upper tabs and do not bulge the wall. Glue the upper faces of the T1 tabs. Lower the T1 face disc onto them, picture up, aligned with the circular rim. Press gently around the edge and let the glue set.
  7. Seal and repeat twice. Tape the entire top circle with short overlapping strips, bridging top and wall. Recheck the base and side seam. Repeat with W2/T2/B2 and W3/T3/B3. Each roll needs one wall, one face top and one rice bottom. The rice, fillings and faces are printed details, not extra cut pieces.
  8. Place all three in the cup. Let everything dry. Set the 3 rolls upright in a triangle inside the cup; their tops sit about 4 mm above its rim for gripping. The left drawing is a top view; the right is a cutaway. Leave them removable. Do not glue them into the cup or pack extra filling. Lift gently, without forcing the walls.

FAQ

Are C1 and C2 two separate cups?

No. Both strips make one 78 mm cup: each has 122.52 mm of net wall plus an 8 mm JOIN flap. Only the three sushi rolls are stuffed; keep them removable. Rice, faces and fillings are printed decoration.
