Assembly overview

1. Print and check. Print both template pages at 100% / Actual Size. The ruler must measure 50 mm. Use 160-180 gsm card, scissors, a ruler and paper glue. Colour the white version before cutting.
2. Cut seven parts. Cut W, B, R, T and C1-C3 on solid outlines. Keep all 24 tabs on W and all 24 on R. Dashed lines fold; blue JOIN lines align and do not fold.
3. Roll the body. Fold W's bottom tabs inward by 90 degrees. Gently curl the wall. Apply glue to the printed 8 mm J strip; lay the opposite straight edge over it, stopping at the blue line. Press from inside. Keep the top open.
4. Attach the base B. Turn the tube upside down. Glue the exposed outward faces of its folded tabs. Place B on the outside, printed side out. Support the tabs through the open top while pressing B; let it dry. No filling.
5. Make the larger cap ring. Curl R and glue its printed 8 mm J strip under the opposite edge. Stop at the blue line. R is intentionally wider than W. Fold its 24 top tabs inward by 90 degrees; keep the underside open.
6. Attach the cap top T. Glue the outward faces of R's folded tabs. Place T outside them, print facing out. Support from the open underside and press the top. Allow the glue to dry fully before fitting it.
7. Try the removable cap. Slide the dry cap straight over the open body. Do not glue the cap to W. Keep thick tape away from the rim. If tight, gently restore both rings to round and check the JOIN alignment; do not force it.
8. Find the chip folds. C1-C3 are three separate 46 x 34 mm ovals. Put the printed side up. The two dashed chords divide an 11 mm wing, a 12 mm middle and another 11 mm wing at the centre line. Do not cut these chords.
9. Shape a shallow scoop. Keep the middle flat. Lift both long-edge wings towards the printed side by about 25 degrees: two shallow valley folds, not a half-fold. The section is only about 4.6 mm high. The small end view shows the fold direction.
10. Make exactly three. Repeat the same two folds on C2 and C3. Do not glue the chips together or add filling. Each remains a single open paper piece with a blank underside. The label picture is decoration, not another cut part.
11. Put in and take out. Lower the three chips into the hollow body. Their 46 mm length fits across the opening. Tip the can to remove them; do not reach all the way down with fingers. Put the removable cap back on.
12. Finished set. One openable can, one removable cap and three paper chips. Body: nominal diameter 52 mm, height 110 mm; cap wall: diameter 54.5 mm, height 14 mm. This is a paper prop, not a food container or a filled squishy.
