Assembly overview

  1. Check the print. Measure the 50 mm line on the template. The six faces are F, L, R, B, T and D in the diagram. Each face is 60 × 60 mm. Print only one color version; do not cut the small guide diagrams.
  2. Protect and cut. Color first if using the outline version. Cover only the six face artworks with clear tape; leave J, DL, DR and DB bare. Cut the continuous outer solid boundary, keeping all seven tabs. The cheese holes and face are printed decoration, not holes to cut.
  3. Fold the net. Pre-fold the five shared face edges and all seven tab roots on the dashed lines. Keep the printed faces outside the cube. J, DL, DR and DB will glue inside; TL, TR and TB will tuck inside without glue.
  4. Close the wall ring. Wrap the row L–F–R–B. Put glue on the printed side of J, then overlap the white inside edge of B onto it, stopping at the J fold. The overlap is 7 mm. Press the seam through the open ends and let it dry. Keep T and D open.
  5. Close the bottom D. Fold DL, DR and DB inward. Put glue on their printed sides. Swing D up around its hinge to F: DL meets the inside of L, DR meets R, and DB meets B. Press each joint through the open top. Let the bottom dry before filling.
  6. Add light filling. Keep T open. Add small, loose pieces of soft tissue through the top. Distribute them toward the corners without packing tightly. Leave enough room below the top for the three support tabs to fold inside.
  7. Tuck the top tabs. Do not glue TL, TR or TB. Fold them inward and swing T over the opening on its hinge to F. Insert TL inside L, TR inside R and TB inside B. T should sit level with the wall edges; remove some filling if it bulges.
  8. Seal the three free edges. With T flat, bridge its three free edges to L, R and B using short clear tape strips. Overlap the tape at the corners. The T–F edge is already joined by the paper hinge. Close every gap so the filling stays inside.
  9. Check and shape gently. Let the glued seams dry. Check the bottom, side join and top seal. Press gently and add a short tape patch if an edge lifts. The result is one closed cube, approximately 60 × 60 × 60 mm; the lid is not removable.
