Assembly overview

1. Print and cut all 7 pieces. Print BOTH color OR BOTH coloring sheets at 100% / Actual Size. No Fit to Page. Check each 50 mm square. Before cutting, copy F/B and the 3 edge ticks onto the blank panel backs. Then cut F, B, W1-W3 and L1-L2 once. Keep attached tabs. Leave glue areas uncolored.
2. Fold tabs; shape the walls. Fold all F and B tabs inward 90 degrees along dashed roots. Gently curve the three walls around a pencil, then shape the grape outline by hand. Curve inward at valleys; do not cut notches into the wall. The dotted JOIN line marks the 8 mm overlap; align it, do not crease it.
3. Join W1, W2 and W3. Glue each 8 mm end tab BEHIND the next strip start: W1 to W2, W2 to W3, then W3 to W1. Purple stays outside; keep every F edge together. Do not trap rim tabs in the joins. Net loop: 333.54 mm. Let joins set.
4. Mount the leaf; glue the front. Glue L1/L2 blank sides together into one flat leaf. Glue its 8 mm stem behind the TOP center of F. Lay F print-side down. Glue every F tab to its back, aligning the three wall joins with the edge ticks. Press tabs from the open back; let set.
5. Fill through the open back. Keep the WHOLE back open. Place a small amount of loose soft tissue inside. Spread evenly without bulging the grapes. Keep tissue away from all B tabs and the leaf stem. The 9 grapes are printed on one body, not separate stuffed balls.
6. Close with B. Check all 30 B tabs lie inward and flat. Put a thin layer of paper glue on every B tab. Set B print-side OUT over the opening, matching the outline. Gently press around the full edge; do not push it into the stuffing. Let glue set.
7. Tape BOTH complete edges. Seal all of F; turn over and repeat on B. Center 15 mm clear tape across each seam: at least 6 mm on panel AND wall. Curves: 6-8 mm pieces, overlapping 2 mm. Inward valleys: press 4-5 mm pieces into the dip in order 1-4, overlapping at least 1 mm. Leave no gaps. Green = tape.
8. Dry, then check gently. Let glue dry fully. Check both entire edges, all 3 wall joins and the leaf stem. Reinforce any lifting seam with tape before gentle use. Finished body: 92 x 110 x 20 mm, about 132 mm tall with leaf. The leaf is flat and is not a handle.
