Assembly overview

1. Print 3 sheets. Choose A4 or US Letter to match your paper. Print one color OR coloring set at 100% / actual size, one-sided. Turn off fit-to-page. Check the 50 mm line with a ruler. Color before cutting.
2. Make the closed base A. Cut all seven pieces, including S and the square hole in C. Score the dashed folds. Fold A into a square tube; glue its side tab behind the opposite edge. Close the top and bottom squares with their tabs inside the walls. Let dry.
3. Form the sloping tip D. Fold D along its three upright dashed lines. Glue its narrow side tab behind the opposite edge to make an 18 × 18 mm tube. The top slopes; keep the short and tall edges aligned. Fold the four bottom feet outward. Leave the bottom open.
4. Seal the sloping top with E. Fit E onto D’s sloping opening. The 18 mm edges meet the level front/back edges; the 21.633 mm edges meet the sloping sides. Join all four edges with short clear-tape strips folded across the outside seams. Do not flatten the slope.
5. Fix the tip onto A. Center D on the top of A. Glue the undersides of its four outward bottom feet onto A, keeping D upright. Each tip side sits 5 mm inside the base edge. Hold it until secure. The tip stays fixed; there is no rotating mechanism.
6. Add the gold collar B and frame C. Fold B into a square tube; glue its side tab inside and fold its bottom feet inward. Slide B over D. Glue B’s feet onto D’s feet already fixed on A; do not lift D. Press with a blunt tool through B’s open top and let dry. Then lower C over D onto B’s rim and tape its four outer edges to B.
7. Make the internal stop S. Fold S into an open square tube, 26 × 26 mm and 60 mm long. Glue its side tab inside. Fold the four narrow upper feet outward. Keep both ends open and let the side seam dry. S will support the cap on the base, clear of the lipstick tip.
8. Attach S inside the cap top. Lay F print-side DOWN and pre-fold its lines. Center the upper feet of S on the blank inside of F’s square top panel, with a 2 mm gap from each S wall to the panel edge. Glue only the feet to this panel. Keep S upright and let dry.
9. Close the cap around S. Fold F’s four walls around S. Glue each of the three top tabs inside its matching wall as you go, then close F’s side seam. The bottom stays open; S ends 10 mm above this opening. Keep glue out of the opening and let everything dry.
10. Try the removable cap. Lower F straight over D and B. The lower rim of S rests on the top of A, stopping the cap after a 10 mm overlap. It must not press the lipstick tip. Do not glue F to A. Lift straight off; if it catches, check alignment and dry glue instead of forcing it.
